Qualification

• PhD or equivalent in the specialization in foundations of education
• All academic degrees should be awarded by universities recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman
• All academic degrees should be in same specialization
  • Bachelor (same specialization)
  • Master (same specialization)
  • PhD (same specialization)

• The candidate’s study of his degrees should be as full time
• Applicants to Assistant Professor positions who have certified experience in teaching and research are given priority over their counterparts
• Has sufficient published articles in peer-reviewed international Journals in the field
• Has considerable experience in teaching university courses in the specialization
• Has experience in supervising master's and doctoral students
• Has leadership skills that enable him/her to contribute to the department development

Required Documents

• A recent photo and a copy of valid passport
• Certificates of the bachelor, masters, and doctorate degrees along with transcripts
• Abstracts of published articles in refereed journals for the last 3 years
• Employment letter issued by the current university of the applicant stating the courses taught for the last 5 years
