Suitably qualified candidates are expected to have a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry or Bioorganic Chemistry with experience in organic synthesis and active research interest preferably in the areas of enzyme-activity and inhibitory activities as well as enzyme stereochemistry and mechanism. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with NMR spectroscopic techniques and applications involving structure-function studies of biomolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates and lipids. Candidates who will be able to take full advantage of the NMR facilities available in the College of Science are particularly encouraged to apply for this position.
