Successful candidates are expected to:

Teach both undergraduate and postgraduate level courses.
Supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate student projects.
Engage in scholarly research activities leading to publications in refereed international journals.
Play an important role in research, curriculum development, graduate student supervision and attracting research funding.
Actively engage in a wide range of departmental and college-based activities including research, administration and community service.

Applicants, preferably medically qualified, should hold a PhD or equivalent in Human Anatomy or relevant subject with at least six years’ experience in teaching (in English) and research in a recognized academic institution after obtaining PhD.
They should demonstrate experience in teaching all anatomy sub-disciplines including Gross Anatomy, Histology, Neuroanatomy, Developmental and Applied Anatomy.
The department contributes to integrated systems course and Problem-Based sessions as part of the integrated medical curriculum adopted by the College of Medicine & Health Sciences. Therefore, the successful candidate will be required to be highly committed to problem-based and case-based learning activities.
Applicants should also demonstrate research contributions through publication in international peer-reviewed journal and postgraduate student supervision.
