Duties
The prospective faculty member will be assigned teaching undergraduate and graduate
students, supervening final year projects, providing academic advising to students, initiating and cooperating in research in the field of expertise and participating actively in the different committees in
the Department.

Highly qualified candidates with doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from a renowned
university in the area of Applied Mechanics/Design are welcomed. The candidate must have
earned his/her BSc in Mechanical Engineering and must have excellent academic credentials in
this field with a good research and publication record is expected.
Targeted Candidates should satisfy the followings:
? PhD and research records in Applied Mechanics/Design or one of the emerging
trends relevant to Applied Mechanics.
? Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
? Proficiency in English.
? Willingness to teach core undergraduate and graduate courses in Applied
Mechanics/Design and offering electives in the particular area of specialty.
? Active in research in the area of specialty and the ability to attract funds and work
in collaborative research teams.
? Willingness and preferably experience in participating in the administrative
academic duties.
? Preferably, having experience with accreditation tasks and particularly ABET
accreditation.
