Duties
Applicants are expected to:
- Teach students in Behavioral Sciences to undergraduate and postgraduate courses as assigned by the department and the college.
- Teach students in Psychological Sciences to undergraduate and postgraduate courses as assigned by the department and the college.
- Actively participate in the research and scientific activities of the department.
- Advise students academically as per university policies and regulations.
- Supervise the research work of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Serve in the department, college and university committees.
- Provide, as appropriate, professional services to the University and community.
- Engage in scholarly and research activities that contribute to their discipline.
Requirements
Applicant should:
- Hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in the fields that fall in Behavioral Sciences.
- Have evidence of at least five (5) years of teaching experience, three (3) of which must be post PhD.
- Hold an academic rank in a recognized academic institution that uses the English language as its primary medium of instruction.
- Have a good research record and the ability to conduct relevant research, including the potential to publish in internationally renowned journals.
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate different kinds of students and colleagues.
- Preferably speaking Arabic language.
