Duties

  • Teaching specialized courses in public relations and other courses assigned to him/her at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Conducting training and practical courses in the field of specialization.
  • Supervising graduation projects and research in the field of public relations.
  • Supervising master and doctoral theses according to the regulations.
  • Contributing effectively to scientific research.
  • Participating in scientific and academic conferences, seminars and meetings, whether inside or outside the Sultanate.
  • Participating in department, college, university and community service committees.

Requirements

  • Obtaining a PhD in the required specialization from a reputable university.
  • A minimum of five years experience after being promoted to the required rank.
  • Supervised a sufficient number of MA and PhD theses.
  • A good record of research and scientific productivity in the field of specialization.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing English and the ability to teach in it.
  • Familiarity with the use of information technology.
