Duties

Teaching core, elective and advanced Computer Science courses for BSc. and postgraduate degrees.
Supervising BSc. graduation projects and MSc/PhD Theses.
Participating in international peer-viewed research publications and leading roles in research grants.
Participating in committees and other administrative duties at the department / college / university and society.

Requirements

The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Networks and Cybersecurity (for Omani candiates only) beginning September 2023. A Ph.D. in Computer Science and a solid research and publication record are required. Applicants must have proven experience in teaching and conducting research in the area of cybersecurity.
