Teaching (and if necessary developing) introductory and advanced courses in Entomology, including General Entomology, Beekeeping, Pests of Crops, Biological Control, Pesticides in Agriculture, Integrated Pest and Disease Management, Medical and Veterinary Entomology, Insect Biotechnology, and other related courses.
Supervising postgraduate and undergraduate students’ research and advising postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Attracting research funds from national and international sources.
Conducting research in integrated pest management, with special emphasis on biologically-based insecticides and acaricides, pesticide residue analysis, resistance to insecticides and acaricides, and application of biotechnology to the solving of pest problems.
Publishing in ISI-indexed peer-reviewed journals, and participation in departmental, college, and university-wide committees and activities.

Ph.D. in Entomology with evidence of specialization in integrated pest management or a closely related specialization such as agricultural entomology.
Experience in teaching courses related to the fields of entomology and integrated pest management. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience.
Research and practical experience in pesticides and integrated pest management. Research experience in insect biotechnology and beekeeping will be an advantage.
An impressive list of publications in the fields of entomology, pesticides, and integrated pest management in ISI-indexed peer-reviewed journals, especially in the last 5-10 years.
An impressive record of developing and securing funded projects.
