• Master degree teaching DaF (or older equivalents, or Germanic Studies with additional studies for teaching German as a foreign language)
• Native fluency in German language; 
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a recognised higher education institution;
• Competencies in using modern teaching technologies and methodologies
• Cultural awareness for teaching in an Arab country;
• Demonstrated command of Germany’s tourism, culture, education and economy; and,
• Very good English communication skills.

• ** If the Applicant is of Omani Nationality:
  1. Obtain a bachelor's degree.

  2. Obtaining a master’s degree or its equivalent with a cumulative grade point average of no less than (3) from a (4) point system or its equivalent from a higher education institution whose classification is no less than that of Sultan Qaboos University, or which is among the best three higher education institutions in the Sultanate, depending on the (QS), (THE) or (Shanghai) classification for universities in the year of graduation.

• 3.  (6 ) In the IELTS exam or its equivalent TOEFL.

• 4.  The applicant's age for the teacher position must not exceed (40) years when the advertisement is published.
